I wish I could say I had like 5 Christmas parties to go to or something, but I don’t.
That doesn’t mean I can’t have one killer look for Christmas though!
I figured I would go with typical Christmas colors, which are the best I think. Sometimes I’ll save the gold for NYE. When I saw this green velvet skirt, it helped my decision also.
We have this park downtown that gets decked out for the holidays. From a large Christmas tree to smaller trees being decorated by schools and local groups. It’s a whole lot of Christmas stuffed into a small place. Walking around there with a warm drink is pretty great.

I got this skirt in a Small , but def could have gotten away with a XS. However, I wore it to a wedding this weekend and ate a lot of bread. So uh, I guess the extra room was pretty perfect. I don’t normally tuck things into skirts since my figure just doesn’t look right with it, so get a size that works for you!
I really want to start my Christmas vacation with going to a holiday play or something so I’m sure this look will make its way out a second time besides just for Christmas Day.
