I hope all of you enjoyed your weekend! Besides the nasty weather in Wisconsin, I was able to get out today for some family fun. In Wisconsin, there is a place called The Fireside.
Dress: Loft | Booties: LC Lauren Conrad | Scarf: Dorothy Perkins
You enjoy a delicious brunch or dinner and then watch a spectacular musical!! Today, we had brunch and saw the play called Solid Gold 60’s. The Fireside is ultimately an all day thing since you have brunch, shop and then watch a play (which is 3 hours long). You also get to dress up a little and this is what I decided to wear.
I love me some leopard, but there’s nothing more that makes me happier than leopard in my signature color, bordeaux! This dress is wonderful, because I have worn it so many ways since having it for a month. Here I layered it with a turtle neck and a blue and silver scarf to jazz it up a bit. Grey is definitely my neutral this winter so wearing grey colored tights was a given. I felt dressed up but still casual enough for the event.
So within The Fireside, it honestly looks like a small town with 3 little shops within it. You always make sure you have at least a good hour to shop! They always have the most unique items within them too which makes it more fun to walk around to see what they have. I took a few pics today so you can see the random things they have. See below. I really wanted the “Keep Calm and Shop On” plaque in the last pic below.
Although the freezing rain was not nice to Wisconsin this weekend, Im glad I was able to enjoy a day with great food and talented actors. I love musicals, and The Fireside is a magical way to enjoy them! I will be going back to see Mary Poppins in April for my birthday!
Bring on the week!! xo
