The Memorial Day Holiday weekend is upon us!! I hope everyone gets blessed with beautiful weather. While we remember the individuals who died while serving in the country’s armed forces, I’m sure a lot of us will be throwing cook outs and picnics! Given that gingham is a trending print right now, I also thought it would be perfect for this weekend’s festivities. And….the dress is bordeaux!!

I am definitely dying over this dress. The color/print/fit….perfection. Now, I’m not trying to emphasize how awesome it is just because the founder of Woodbury Lane is a sweetheart! But she is. I admire Katelyn for doing what she loves and managing her own business. Last weekend we chatted up at a local vendor event where she had a pop-up shop. I could talk to her for hours! Aside from the dress being my signature color, it just reminds me of picnics and summer. The bordeaux is def a lighter shade so that helps to make it more season appropriate. I’m just picky about that stuff I guess.
Unfortunately, the weather calls for rain all weekend here in Wisconsin. Hopefully the weather man is wrong per usual and we get to enjoy some sort of nice weather. I have a wedding and a couple of gatherings so I’m looking forward to being in summer dresses and surrounded by good company!
