It is time to invest in your pieces! It is time to make sure you are wearing your items multiple times and switching up how you wear them! Today and tomorrow, I am going to style my new favorite dress for work and play!
Today…I’m dressing for play. Forever 21 Dress • LC Lauren Conrad Vest (old) (Similar) • Old Navy Sandals • Le Tote Necklace
I have been getting lucky at Forever 21 again. I will sometimes go a while and not find anything that catches my eye there but lately, it has been great. When I found this dress and saw the price tag, it was the perfect purchase ($17.99). Although it is sold out, I am sure they have other floral midi dresses that match this style. You can never have too many floral midi dresses in my option.
Plus this dress showcases the fact that you can take a dress and style it for the context you need it for. Although you have to wait to see it styled the other way, here, I went with more casual vibes. I will find the piece I want to focus on, this dress for example, and just throw accessories and other pieces on top of it to make it my own. I haven’t worn this vest in forever and fancy that, it works it way back into rotation. I love finding those pieces in my closet that have been hiding for a while until they are perfect for an outfit!
The weekend was absolutely perfect for me. The weather-activities-company….on point. I’m sure wherever Olaf is, he is pretty happy its summer. I will second that. I mean, I enjoyed summer so much yesterday that I even took a tiny cat nap in the park, because I was so content. I’m glad summer is on time though. Maybe next year-someone should tell it that being early isn’t a bad thing either.
Coming Soon: It turns out I will have a guest blogger on Bordeaux Blvd soon! Stay tuned to see who she…or he…is!
