Weekend Recap

Of course casual vibes are needed over the weekend sometimes. Although it is summer and bright colors are at their peak, it wont stop me from rocking my hat in my signature color! While I was out one night, I stumbled upon this lovely area in a park and watched the sunset! This weekend was eventful so here is the recap! I feel like this post is more about the view versus my weekend wear–which I’m not mad at! As I search for a new home, I am trying to find a good balance of city and pretty places nearby to escape like this!

Speaking of finding a home-apartment shopping is exhausting. Especially when you have a dog…it limits your options so much! I hope Tink and I can adjust nicely, but I’m more concerned about where all my clothes are going to go!!

So as I probably mentioned before…it is Summerfest time here in WI! Me being the spoiled individual I am, I have been lucky enough to enjoy free tickets and special areas around the stages. Summerfest can get expensive, so that has been nice! I have been there about 3 nights so far, and then I’m going again tonight! Here are some cute pics from the event so far… Last Thursday I went and saw X Ambassadors…who’s album comes out today the way!! They have such a different and unique sound, it just speaks to me. Annnnd the guitar player just so happens to be easy on the eyes. They were great!

Sunday I went to Greek Fest with my photographer and then we did a shoot. Life has been off lately and aside from making great pics, she has been a great friend to keep my mind off of things. How adorable is this pic of Anne and her daughter? My blog would be nothing without her!

Only one more work day and it is time for the long holiday weekend!! I hope you all have splendid things planned for your Fourth of July. Thankfully the weather will be nice here, and I plan on just surrounding myself with the people who love me by choice 🙂
