After about 11 years in this small village, I am packing my bags for what’s about to be the biggest change of my life…but I’m so ready. Skirt: Le Tote • Tank: Target
Anyone who really knows me is aware that I belong in or near the city. I was born in California and then was raised mainly in Wisconsin in the city. Halfway through high school, I was moved to the village of Waterford. It is an extremely small area and you have to drive 20-30 minutes to get anywhere. So for the past 11 years, I have relied on good cars and music to get me to where I want to be. Although I got used to it, my job being so north and my social life expanding, it was clear that it is time to make that leap!
So I have been expressing my whole apartment shopping journey, and it is weird to say but I am glad it’s over! I changed my mind 3 times and spent way too many hours on Craiglist.
The support system from people close to me has been overwhelming! 🙂 I didn’t plan on needing to move out so it has def been a roller coaster of emotions.
But enough of the sentimental details…lets celebrate and decorate!!!
So this outfit is ultimately about high slits and high emotions! Because the slit was so high on this skirt, I decided to be more casual-sexy-chic with it. Plus I like to wear chucks with everything, let’s be real. I loved the length of this skirt too! I haven’t really been rocking maxi skirts or dresses this season, but I gave this one a try, and it was perf.
Tomorrow it is time to celebrate and plan away!
