I know we are 7 days into June, but I promised an update on my life as of late. Whether you find this thrilling or not is up to you.

The decisions, tears, and smiles made the months of Feb-May pretty interesting.

Our Love Story

So Jeisson and I are those crazy people who have been together for two days and are in love. We give a whole new definition to the phrase “When you know, you know”. For now, I enjoy seeing the looks on people’s faces when I tell we have been together for 6 months when it sounds like we’ve been together for 6 years.Long story short, we met in Wisconsin and a few months ago, Jeisson decided to move home–which is in NY (where he is from). Given my love for the city and him, I knew I would follow him eventually.March: Us in Central Park♥

Now, long distance relationships are not the easiest thing, but I’m sorry–we did great! Of course it was difficult at times though. We were apart from Feb 24th – May 23rd (I didn’t keep track of it or anything).

Fast forward to a month ago (May)

Without diving into a bunch of sad family and personal happenings, it took us that and what felt like months of going back and forth to finally decide that WI was going to be our home.

This big decision effected our family, work, and friends. However, I would do it all again, because without this chain of events, we probably wouldn’t have been so sure about our WI decision.

You can imagine my stress level throughout this whole process when I had to abandon one apartment then quickly try to find another! I did it though and we are located in Milwaukee like before–just not in the heart of the city like last time.

So here we are, present day and life is back to normal. However, my hair is much shorter and I’m at the gym more than I’ve ever been in my life. Living with your personal trainer is not easy. We are looking forward to the summer and what the future holds!
