MKE Fashion Week: Nights 1 & 2

Hi there! Hope your week is off to a great start. I thought I would start to share all the details from Milwaukee Fashion Week.

I’m very proud of the city for pushing to put Milwaukee on the map for fashion. Because I promise, we like more than beer and cheese.  So happy 2nd birthday mke fashion week.

Lets start with night 1. The main things I learned is that I am not a model and I walk really fast. My dear friend is a designer and when she asked for model help, I couldn’t say no! I got to experience the show from a unique perspective on night one.

As far as night 1 goes, I didn’t get to enjoy the show and see the designers as much as I would have hoped, since I was in it. But night 2 made up for it.

I had a special guest with me, another local Milwaukee blogger who is a sweetheart! Meet Lauren of Ruehl World:

I got to wear this beautiful dress by Luci Boutique. Of course the color is on point for me. Not to mention Lauren and I had Italian for dinner so this covered all the carbs I enjoyed!

I know this was a quick recap, but its hard to enjoy myself and keep snapping pics! Even though I upgraded to the 128G iPhone so the storage is endless! As far as nights 1 and 2 go, I was so proud of everyone for their unique and bold designs! It takes a lot to showcase your ideas and take the opinions.
