So another year, another iPhone. This time, Apple introduces us to the iPhone 7.
Now I’m not all that or anything, I just so happen to be ready for an upgrade when it came out.
Which is fine, because I’m glad I took the leap to experience the phone so that everyone waiting would be given this review and viewpoint of the phone.
So lets starts with the main changes and how I’ve been dealing with them:
No head phone jack
I know everyone is dying over this so I figured I would address it first. Don’t panic. The only thing you can’t do is charge your phone and listen to music at the same time. I used to do this all the time. Especially when using GPS and listening to the music on my phone in the car. Now I did some research and you can get an adaptor for only $17 found here. So that solves that. I heard they removed it to add space and/or to make the phone more water-resistant. Whether those claims are true or not, who knows. But I refuse to site all the different sources making these claims so we’ll just move on.
Home Button
No more swiping! Yes, you know how you swipe your finger across the screen to open it? Well not anymore. You have a couple of different ways of opening the phone. You either push the button or rest your finger on the button. You can pick so find the option you like best! Trust me, you will swipe the screen several several several several times before getting used to the new way.
Digital Touch
You can now be an artist and draw messages! It’s quite fun actually. There are several options within Digital Touch.
- The phone has “tap options” that will generate images already made. Ex. tap twice to send a kiss
- “Draw” the message
- Draw or tap images onto imported images
Camera
As a blogger, photography is very important to me. I need to capture every detail. From the sunsets to the detail on my sweater. Normally, we rely on our digital cameras. Well not anymore! I guess with me, I never had a top of the line digital camera, so my phone is the best thing to happen to my blog. If you hold the iPhone 6 camera up to the iPhone 7 camera, the difference is insane.
To conclude, you can get all these features by just updating your IOS (minus the camera). Which means you don’t need to technically get the new phone.
So why did I get it?
Because the rose gold is pretty! Well, and because I wanted the 128G space and camera. I will be using my phone more than ever now and I needed the best features like those.
So like every year….the list of new features is going to be small. It is really up to you on whether you want the new camera or if you have the iPhone 4 still…if so…come on now.
Whether this post was helpful or not, just know that all your upcoming outfit posts will be taken by this new pretty rose gold sidekick!
