Cuddle Up to 2017 with Exciting Adventures

Hi loves! And welcome 2017! Crazy huh? I always know the year is coming to an end but it never hits until it is actually Jan 1st of the new year.

How exciting though? Everyone is energized to start new goals and new endeavors. Hopes that the new year will bring all the luck and dreams to come true.

Well I wish this all to you! My reader, my follower, my new guest for that matter!

I am excited to share a crazy cool thing I get to do. Today and tomorrow are reserved for relaxation but deep down I am anxious because I am hosting my first TV segment on Tuesday! I know many local bloggers who do this all the time and blogger friends who do this as well, however, this is my first time so it’s all surreal to me!

The segment will be about the right fabrics for winter and how to layer properly. Given that I live in the frozen tundra, dressing warm and paying attention to the fabric you buy is pretty important. I partnered with 3 boutiques to bring 3 different outfit choices that all fit within my winter guidelines. It was actually a lot of fun shopping with them and I love everything I picked out.

I will obviously share the video once I get a hold of it so I won’t share too much right now.

Today’s outfit share touches a little on the “cozy” side of winter. I actually shot this outfit a while ago so my old hair is displayed here but since I am on vacation, casual is my jam right now.

I didn’t even dress up for NYE! Last year I got all fancy and paid money to go a hotel party. I just felt like it wasn’t worth the money so this year, we kept it local with friends. When a hotel runs out of champs, not okay haha. It felt nice not to put so much pressure on the occasion too.

Well I hope everyone has a relaxing first few days of the New Year! I know I will. 3 days left of vacation for this girl.
