Happy Valentine’s Day! Despite your viewpoint on this Hallmark Holiday, I will say it anyway. I guess it is an excuse to either have a nice dinner, enjoy a Galentine’s night, or make Harry Potter themed gifts for your coworkers…which is um, what I did. Thank you Etsy.
Because we don’t do anything by the books around here, I decided to enjoy date night in this gorgeous emerald dress that not only encompasses the cold shoulder trend but proves that when Zara has a sale, they reallly have a sale!
This dress was $8 from the most recent sale Zara had and I believe is still having! I know that because I just placed an order last Friday. oops. And as we get get closer to closing out February and my spring staples start rolling in, now is the time to appreciate the winter pieces that will be packed away soon–insert leopard booties.
I got this lip look from Influenster when they sent me some free samples last week. The new BITE Beauty lip pencil that came with a lipstick of course. This color just gets me. I love a good deep bold lip! And the product went on so smooth which is always a refreshing aspect of lip products.
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I am lucky to wear a permanent smile from the cute gift and gesture Jeisson got me. We normally don’t celebrate this day, but hey, why not. The highlight of my morning was the heart shaped donuts someone brought in. Yum.
Regardless of what you do or think of today–don’t let the hype get in your head, just enjoy it! <3
