Awaiting Spring With Some Favorites

Am I the only one who feels like this week flew by? Def not complaining, just an observation.

This post is about spring favorites and some exciting news!

Please note that these booties are “olive”. They don’t want you to know that they are olive because they are not photogenic nor are true olive. I would say they are taupe with a hint of olive. Online shopping is hard when it comes to truly knowing these colors. However, I can’t complain–they will go with everything regardless.

The denim jacket….I’ve had it for 6+ years. If I ever lost it, I would die. When I was shopping for one, I knew AE had a good reputation for supplying good ones. But never did I think I would still have it to this day. I linked another denim jacket from AE and I hope it gives you the love and quality mine does. Normally I pack away my jacket for the winter, but for some reason it was hanging out the other day and it worked! Plus it was nice enough outside to rock it.

Oh Lauren Conrad, my long lost BFF. Not only does she understand the high waisted benefit, but her knit pants are also perfect. I’ve had these pants for again, a very long time. Although they are not a spring specific item, transitioning through the seasons gets easier with some favorite basics.

Finally, I remember showing you my new favorite work tote by REED at Kohl’s. It is the perfect sized bag to throw everything into. I have a smaller clutch in there for Happy Hour purposes. The colors on this bag are just so perfect. Match everything–every season–every outfit, love it!

I can’t wait to consistently wear these staples. 60s one day then snow the other. Yay Midwest.

Now onto the other fun topic…

We found an apartment!

I know you guys have been with me throughout my rants of frustration during this process. And for that I thank you. Our new place comes with a pool and fitness center. It includes 2 full baths and the best part?….I finally get a “cloffice”. What did you just say? Yes, I said closiffe. Closet+Office.

I’ve spent the last week browsing Pinterest like it’s my job to find the perfect closet set up alongside making sure I stay within a logical budget. You can see my board below that has my favs so far. I need a lot of hanging since I don’t like folding. IKEA, I’m sure, will come through with everything I need….given my internet research lately.

Our apartment now is just way too small so I’ve never been more excited to move. And I mean, the pool. People have been laughing at me about the fact that I am already purging things and packing. lol. And it hasn’t been a week since we claimed the place. Oops. If you saw the new place, you would understand. I can’t wait to share the journey with you! Like always.
