I would have to say the best thing about blogging is meeting so many women from around the country. You actually get to know these people who you follow on a daily basis which is really cool. A few weekends ago, I got to brunch and finally meet some blogger babes from around the Midwest.
I am part of a blogging community called The Style Collective. It is the destination for all kinds of inspiration, support, and guidance when it comes to being a girl boss. The image above is a clear example of how friendship stems from this industry.
As mentioned, you get to know these women through their IGs and blogs so when we all finally met, it felt so natural.
I have met a couple of ladies before, but throwing back mimosas while having real conversations was just wonderful.
We all met at The Hampton Social in Chicago. I’ve mentioned I go to Chicago a lot so that was no biggie for me. We had one blogger drive from Indiana but majority were Chicago natives. Naturally the blogging community is much bigger there than Milwaukee. I repped WI well though, don’t you worry.

It was really nice out that day so I wanted to keep it spring focused and casual.
Not to mention they have the cutest spots to take pictures in!!
It was such a great networking day. We are talking about our next meet up in May and I can’t wait!
