Figure Flattering Essentials

Hi friend! Welcome to today’s OOTD. I’m happy Monday is over.

One day closer to the big move/lease signing on Thursday. For the next 3 days, I will be rocking the same 2 pairs of denim since the box of pants is officially lost. Which is fine, I warned everyone, so they know I am not sick or something.

Speaking of denim–the below pair is by far my favorite for its distressed qualities and perfect amount of stretch. The fact that I love carbs makes me wanting high waist pants all the time and these have that too. Then, when I learned about Embrazio and their figure flattering belt, the combination is just perfection!!

So I have a confession to make…actually I already gave it away above with the carb comment, but my confession is that my love handle issue is out of control. I carry all my weight in my tummy which ultimately sucks. At the gym it is all pilates and ab stuff since I feel I am fine everywhere else.

I hide it well, given that fashion knows we each have that part we want to minimize.

The amazing thing about this belt is that it curves on the side so it actually helps a woman’s figure! When you lay the belt out flat, you’ll see it.

Since I normally don’t wear belts that often, I wanted a solid neutral color that would match whatever I am in the mood for.

Before I go on a mini hiatus while we move and get settled, I can’t wait to share with you some living room and cloffice inspo tomorrow! We did some shopping and it is so hard not to set up the entire apartment in one day (plus it is $$). If you’re wondering why I didn’t care more about our current apartment….well, the building was too old for us to even hang stuff on the wall so it was terrible. But! Onto bigger and newer things…so let’s decorate!!
