Currently Obsessed: Gingham & color

Hey all!

I know you loved all the mushy content from the last post but now its back to shoes and clothes…cause obvi. We love J to death…but shoes.

So for some reason, which I don’t know why, but just realized, I have a lot of gingham and colored shoes in my closet. Which for summer, its a great thing! So I figured I would document the two pieces on repeat for ya.

Without even knowing it, I feel like I would rock this outfit for the 4th of July too! All the colors are there and its just one of the cutest outfits so far this season (not to sound conceded). But we all have that outfit every once in a while where you just strut into work like you’re in a fashion show. Am I right?

But any who, back to gingham. The print just makes me think of picnics and sunshine and patios. Not to mention you can get the print in pretty blues! I had to grab this clearance blouse from H&M regardless of the color.

The fabric and details make it workable for the hot temps.

Now onto bright and pretty shoes!

When it comes to my summer sandals, I want bright, fun, or edgy since my outfits are usually basic and keep me cool.

Now that it is officially summer, the outfits and activities are in full swing! Can you believe the 4th of July is right around the corner? Crazy!!

Happy Hump Day though! Tomorrow officially starts my dog’s birthday celebrations. Yes, I’m that crazy dog lady, but if you are a dog mom, you understand.

Tink will be 7 years old which is just crazy to me. We are doing a little party at Jazz in the Park (weather permitting). This Saturday downtown there is a Tails on the Trails walk/run event which sounds so adorable! We shall see if we make it there or to some farmers market which I usually hit every weekend.
