Happy Tuesday! Let’s all celebrate that Monday is over!
I figured it has been a while since I dove into life and love. Which are two wonderful things I would say.
So yesterday marked the 1 month anniversary if you will since we moved into our new place.
Yes, we are still over the moon happy with it, the place is still not decorated what so ever, and we are lucky enough to not have to turn on the AC yet.
Since I love being transparent with you, life happens and it’s not always easy to just go out and buy everything you want/need for the place. With so much going on, the apartment and fun stuff has had to go to the side for a little bit. That may be a bit dramatic but I’m the type of person that wants it done now! I have a solid vision of every room but I can’t go to the store and get it all now. Wah.
But hey! Slowly but surely guys! Here is a “sneak peek” into the cloffice so far:
All the hangers are white now and the shoes still don’t have a home. And yes, Tink loves to lay on those Ikea rugs. I’m proud of J and I for spray painting this cheaper Ikea shelf versus buying a gold one. Once I build the home for the shoes and refurbish my chair…all the big stuff will be done!
I love how supportive J has been of blogging stuff lately. Why I have been so busy lately is beyond me. I think a great balance with everything is to make sure he knows I am still here and his. To appreciate when he makes us lunches at night when I can’t help him. Or when I leave him on a Friday for a girls event in Chicago. Staying connected is huge.
Life is so much better when you find the right person who you know is your best friend, companion, love, and fellow Wii bowler addict. I truly wish everyone finds this love. Even though he may not like doing shoots with me every time lol
Fun upcoming things…we’ve been planning and thinking of what to do for my 30th birthday for some time…and well…
We’re going to Mexico! Saving for it and picking out which hotel…check! I am excited to turn the big 3-0 with one of those fancy pineapple drinks in my hand.
Figured I would end on a fun note! Thankfully this week is slow but a jam packed weekend. Lets do it!
