Oh the fun events that just make your week.
I’m talking about Tuesday night here in Milwaukee where I stumbled upon blooms, a drink to dye for, and the sweetest Creative Director there ever was.
Have you ever made a flower crown before? Ever even worn one? Those answers were a no for me before I got invited to actually make one at one of the best locations in Milwaukee.
This is not a sponsored post. I could have happy hour at The Outsider every day if I could. The rooftop bar and lounge has a breathtaking view alongside cocktails that will change your life. What more could you want? And what a better spot than that to make adorable flower crowns?
I mean, when I walked in, I think I went into ultra blogger mode and took pictures of everything!
Let’s start with the sweets^^
Now onto the fun stuff!
Can I just say that making these was a lot easier than I thought. Which is a relief because I had a lot of Instagram posts riding on this. 😉
What was the specialty drink you ask?
It is called Persephone’s Great Return. I even have the recipe for you!

I loved how it was a smaller gathering–it was much easier to chat with my blogger babes and get to know the new ones. We should all make this our part-time gig, because everyone’s crowns turned out so pretty!
Awe!! Such a spectacular photo!
I think mine turned out pretty decent. The funniest part of the whole thing was watching everyone getting used to HUGE flowers on her head! So funny!
