After an awful long winter here in Wisconsin, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin is wonderful! The past couple weeks has given way to an abundance of hope that spring will bring more than just showers. I was able to wear three dresses recently with NO TIGHTS OR LEGGINGS. 🙂

This maxi skirt is the perfect sandy neutral for pastels or darks. I personally am not a huge fan of the high-low skirt, although I still have a couple, I prefer a maxi. I love pairing them with flip-flops or booties like pictured above. I’m also getting excited to start wearing my floppy hats at the beach!! SO many wonderful spring and summer perks are right around the corner.

It’s comical because I recently did a full head foil, but in these pictures, I feel like someone probably wont be able to tell! In the first picture, you can see a big blonde streak on the one side though!

I’m excited to start this week because it means it’s getting closer to my birthday…which is next Sunday by the way! I just ordered these pastel booties for this Friday’s festivities! With all that set aside, no one likes Mondays. So I figured for this post I would rewind to my weekend wear.

This is my second pair of this style pant. I feel casual, but I can spice it up with some booties or cute flats. Not to mention they are super comfortable! Although I’m at work today in a pencil skirt, I’ll be wishing it was the weekend again!! Lets get through the week everyone!

I’m really craving more skirts right now! Instead of the usual pencil or maxi, I’ve been loving skater and midi skirts. This skirt from New York & Company is perfect for twirling. I can’t hide the fact that when I have a good skirt on or dress, I just love to twirl!  I just love the cobalt blue of this skirt as well! Although it’s no longer available, I’m sure this skirt can twirl just as easily!

On a side note…look how blonde my hair looks!!!
