Oh Hey 2018, What Do You Have In Store?

It would be quite appropriate to admit how long it has been alongside the neglect to this site. I feel it would also be a waste a time to dwell on it.

So lets focus on the positive shall we?

To start, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday–Christmas and New Year. Crazy how 2018 is already here. And crazy how so many things will change for me this month which is quite comical since everyone attempts to change during this month.

But for me, my changes won’t be a gym membership or to vow I won’t swear as often (because that’s never going to happen). My New Years resolutions won’t be resolutions at all, but to embrace what makes me happy while not changing at all!

So here’s what will go down:

New Job:

On the 15th, I start a whole new adventure at work. A new career path that not only embraces who I am and what I love, but is a career path I want. I am already so close with the members on the team and I will own the brand FILA. Now we all know I’m not a huge gym junkie, but maybe if I had cute work out clothes, I would go more. Official title: Product Development Coordinator 

So the adjustment will be more of a work-life balance thing and getting my job down.

Travel:

I don’t want to give too much away yet, but in 8 days, Jeisson and I will be booking a trip for my 30th birthday. It will by far be the most adventurous and magical trip I have ever taken. Not being in the US, this trip will stretch my comfort zones and be a birthday to remember!!

Blogging Perspective:

As mentioned in a previous post, my blogging perspective is going to change in the new year. If I could pick a New Years Resolution, it would be to just care less. Sometimes its just exhausting, and I think the pressure stalls any creative posts I would normally want to do.

With that being said, my Instagram handle will be changing to @Katherine.Clemins

None of that business account stuff and I would expect to see more of family and lifestyle incorporated into my style posts. It’s already such a freeing feeling. Not sure if I’m behind the curve or not with having this freeing perspective, but its whats best for me. Especially since my career will take precedence over blogging.

Ah I am so excited for all these things to happen this month. After chopping my hair off which was a big fabulous adjustment, I’m ready to get rid of more clutter in my life.

And with the new paychecks, I’ll be going to Zara more….which is fabulous. hehe
