Bon-Ton New & Now Fall Fashion & Beauty Event

Another fashion show to recap for you!!

There have been so many lately and I love it because Milwaukee is hustling to put itself on the map for fashion. With the help of Bon-Ton and blogger Jordan Dechambre, my fellow blogger love and I had a great morning!

Due to the fact that we got to the show at 8am on a Saturday, doing our makeup was not going to happen. With the help of great Lancome beauty experts, we got the finishing touches we needed.

Zhenya got a lip applied while I needed under eye concealer (designer bags)

The show had a few different themes to each run and here are some of my fav looks:

Notice the bordeaux look, a favorite of course. And please pay attention to this velvet cami dress…I just can’t. I was in love!!

After the show, we got a special treat for going that we could shop with!

I know this is a quick and simple recap, but I always love sharing all the moments from any event. It goes to show that fashion events are such a great way for customers to see outfits put together and latest trends.

Crushing on the Velvet Trend

It’s almost the weekend!! Cheers to that! I mean, I only work a few hours on Fridays so mine go by quick but still, I can’t go to work in my sweats. But any who!

Today I have a budget post for you!! Who doesn’t love that? There’s that great feeling of rocking the current trends at prices that are just perfect. Of course when we want something at a great price, we go to Forever 21 first.

It also comes in olive but I love adding pops of bordeaux to everything to mauve seemed the way to go. And the dress is so comfortable!!

When I was at the event last night, I got so many compliments on the dress, it was crazy. But like always, I was so happy to spread the budget word!!

My plans this weekend? We have a Masquerade Party! I’ve been debating how unique or “big” I want to go with my mask and outfit. Hint hint…black & gold. This will be my first party like this so I’m pretty excited to see how it goes! I hope I don’t forget what Jeisson’s mask or outfit is because I’m scared I might lose him! ha

Sweater Weather

Cold Shoulder Sweater Dress

It’s the final days of fall transition here in WI. I had to wear tights the other day, it was so sad. I can layer all I want but I’m too cold to rock bare legs anymore. Even shooting tonight, I was freezing.

With that said, I’m finally sharing the last dress of the season with bare legs…and more appropriately…cold shoulders. You all loved this dress when it previewed on IG so I’m excited to show you even more details about it.

Now onto current events!

Wednesday I have such an important event: Catwalk 4 A Cure Fashion Show. The show benefits a local organization ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis. I went last year and it was such a rewarding experience given that proceeds get donated and the models are either survivors or women currently battling breast cancer.

Fashion is obviously my life, but when I can use fashion to benefit others, that’s when it really becomes what I want to do.
