Picnic in the Park

If you follow my Instagram (@bordeauxblvd), then you already know Jeisson and I got pretty spoiled last week! We won a picnic for two at the event we enjoy every Thursday.

I won a giveaway through Milwaukee Magazine. I always stay focused on my local businesses and I obviously entered this great giveaway!

In Milwaukee, every Thursday, there is an event called Jazz in the Park. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Huge park, live jazz music, and wine!! It is such a great time with friends.

Holiday Wear

Welcome day 2 of the long weekend!

Yesterday we had a blast–lake, boat, cookout, and fireworks on the lake. Today we plan to take it easy and get another dose of fireworks tonight.

Tomorrow we will practically be doing the same thing with more friends and I plan to wear this dress. Bonus, I found this gem for $11.

I have had this dress on the SHOP section of the blog for quite some time now. When it first arrived, I believe the price was around $88. One random day, I went into Banana Republic to browse. They had a 50% off clearance sale, it was marked at $20. Win.

Since then, I can’t find it on the site. I had to call 3 stores to find it so stop into your local store and try to get lucky. To be honest, the material is so lightweight that I’m not sure if I shall use it as a cover up or a dress yet!
