In my opinion, Sundays are for brunching and errands! Thank goodness I have a head that works with hats, because I love not putting in effort with my hair on Sundays, especially with bangs right now! Nothing saves a bad hair day like a fedora or baseball cap!

Unlike my last post about these loafers, you can definitely see the pop of pink here! At this point in the season, I am craving more colors and prints, because black is slowing fading from my wardrobe! As essential as it is, I just need color! So I can have black jeans or tops, but I knew these shoes would satisfy my need of color.

I’m obsessed with this camo jacket! It is heavy enough to keep warm, but perfect for layering. I have camo skinnies but they can only do the trick for so long.

Vest: Loft | Blouse: The Limited Similar

Today’s post is all about this essential cozy vest! I guess you would have to feel the fabric to understand. The neutral color allows me to wear it with practically everything! I love pieces like that! To know I can wear it with 8 different outfits in my head while looking at it in the store makes the decision process much easier!

I find it comical in my last post I showed my tee that had lips on it, and now I’m showcasing this blouse with lips on it! I find the detail feminine and unique. I love matching my lipstick to the color of the lips on the blouse as well. And again, my snow-white skinnies as always, on repeat! Cant help it!

So after being a new blogger for a few weeks, I thought I would focus on myself versus the outfits for a change! So let’s get started….

I have come to find that blogging is not only relaxing, but I love researching about lovely things to share with you! I’m always very updated with fashion resources and trends so its hard not to share all the things I come across. Also, at my current full-time job, the dress code allows us to be pretty darn casual…which isn’t okay by me!! I always feel dressed up, because everyone is usually in jeans and tee. My blog gives me the fun opportunity to dress up for you!

Why Bordeaux Blvd? Call it maroon, burgundy, or purple’s cousin, bordeaux is my fav color!! I live for fall when the color is everyone!! I started this blog a couple of months ago…getting it pretty and planning outfits. During a shopping outing one day, I stumbled into Banana Republic to find that L’Wren Scott knows a way to my heart! He created an exclusive line for Banana Republic which included a magical word…BORDEAUX!

It was at that moment that I knew the name of my blog was perfect beyond words! I freaked when I saw this though, because its perfect for me! Lady Bordeaux? Come on, can’t get better than that! So this discovery and the name of my blog make me super excited about my new personal hobby!

Before I started this blog, I was strictly Instagraming my outfits while connecting them to Facebook and Pose. I realized that I loved doing this and wanted to expand it further! Of course I decided to pay for and claim the blog’s domain.

Onto a personal side note, my best friend Emily (who is a fantastic writer) will be guest blogging on here as well! Her writing skills and my love for fashion are taking us to New York at the end of this year! Our goals and passions will hopefully get us there! And although NYC is having a huge snow storm right now…it wont stop me!
